Just twist the cap when you want to sharpen a knife and the diamond sharpening rod extends 3.5 inches and locks in place. It’s designed to work like a Butcher’s rod and can be used for sport, work and kitchen cutlery, and it’s grooved for sharpening fish hooks and other pointed objects.
